My name is Roman, and I’ve been bowling since I was a kid.
It started with trips to the bowling alley on birthdays or special occasions, and I didn’t want it to end every time we went.
I knew my grandfather enjoyed bowling in his time, but I didn’t think much of it.
Then I started to get good. I enjoyed quashing my friends during some candlepin, and I may or may not have made a few hundred bucks at the local alley when I was thirteen.
Does nobody expect that from a kid, y’know?
I just kept going with it. Through high school, college, and the early years of my work life, I always ensured there was time to bowl at least twice a week.
It’s the one consistent hobby I greatly enjoy, and I’m willing to bet it does the same for you.

My name is Roman Urlich, and I own the Land of Bowling. I started Land of Bowling in 1998 when I was just 16 years old. I was inspired by the sport of bowling, which I had been playing since I was a kid. I was excited to open the business and to share my passion with others. I’m proud to have been in the bowling business for over 20 years.
